Stopping the engine (Safe stopping procedure)
1. Lower the boom completely down. Place the attachment rmly on the ground, engage the parking brake, stop the
attachment (move auxiliary hydraulics control lever to neutral position, see page 25), set engine revs to idle.
2. Stop the engine by turning the ignition key to the OFF position (to the left)
3. Release the auxiliary hydraulics pressure (see page 41).
4. Take off the ignition switch and turn the power off with the battery disconnect switch. Prevent any unauthorized use of the loader.
The following label is placed on the inner roof of the loader and is visible from the driver’s seat. The label describes the
needed actions in order to shut down the loader to a safe state.
Stop the engine as soon as possible, if you notice any of the following symptoms. Find out the
cause before restarting.
• The oil pressure warning light turns on during use of the loader.
• A sudden and unusual noise is heard
• There is a sudden increase in engine vibration.
The color of the exhaust fumes suddenly darkens or turns white.

Unfasten seat belt, remove ignition key, and
disconnect the battery with the main switch.
Release residual hydraulic pressure.
Move throttle to low idle position, shut off engine.
Apply parking brake. Avoid parking on inclines.
Lower the loader boom completely and place attachment
flat on the ground. If boom must be left in raised position,
be sure to engage lift cylinder service support.
Disengage auxiliary hydraulics circuits.

Before leaving drivers seat:
1. Disengage auxiliary hydraulic circuits.
2. Release residual hydraulic pressure.
3. Lower the loader boom completely and
place attachment at on the ground. If lift
arm must be left in raised position, be sure
to engage lift cylinder service support.
4. Move throttle to low idle position, shut off
engine.
5. Apply parking brake. Avoid parking on
inclines.
6. Unfasten seat belt, remove key, and
disconnect the battery with the main switch.
