4.2 Connection to Other Exhaust Gas Testers
(with Universal Adapter)
Connect the clamp-on transducer cable
The clamp-on transducer cable is mounted onto the AVL DiTEST Speed 2000 in 3 stages:
First clamp the ground tongs onto the metal sleeve of the universal adapter (1)
Then attach the clamp-on transducer cable to the flat plug of the universal adapter (2)
Connecting the external power supply (3) EN0432

In some cases, testers may need an extra ground connection between the
AVL DiTEST Speed 2000 (universal adapter) and the tester (tester's ground clamp).
Exhaust gas tester settings
Select the clamp-on transducer signal input on your exhaust gas tester.
Always follow the instructions in your exhaust gas tester manual!
4.3 Connection to Other Exhaust Gas Testers
(Using Trigger Clamp Bar)
Plug the AVL Dual Sensor into the AVL DiTEST Speed 2000 and screw it in

Clamp the trigger clamp of your exhaust gas tester to the trigger clamp bar of the
AVL DiTEST Speed 2000
Exhaust gas tester settings
Select the speed measurement with the trigger clamp (1 ignition pulse per engine cycle).
Always follow the instructions in your exhaust gas tester manual!
