4.4.2 Procedure
The analog inputs and outputs are adjusted during production, i.e.
offset or gain errors are minimized or eliminated. The adjustment
values are then stored in the module, i.e. changes are made in the
device.
During the calibration, the system checks whether the accuracy still
lies within the defined limits. No changes are made to the module.
If the specified limits are exceeded, the following can be done:
n Have a readjustment be performed at AVL, or
n Remove the errors in the PUMA system with the help of a
calibration table.

Important: We recommend that the accuracy be checked every 12
months.
