Configuration and parameterization (continued)
5.3 Parameterization using the Config-Assembly
When starting, the PLC transmits the Config-Assembly to
the BTL7-V50D-…. The settings are applied if the Config_
assembly_parameter_recognition flag is set. Any deviating
settings via the Position Sensor Object or the device
configuration object are ignored.
A practical example of parameterization using the Config-
Assembly is described in chapter6.3 Configuration of the
BTL7-V50D-…… on page21.
5.3.1 Config_assembly_parameter_recognition
This parameter is used to determine whether Config-
Assembly is decisive or whether it will be ignored.
If this BOOL is set to 1, the settings made here take
priority over the saved parameters.
If the value is 0, the settings of the Config-Assembly are
ignored and the BTL is operated according to the
parameters set in the Position Sensor Object or device
configuration object.
5.3.2 Number_of_Magnets
This parameter has the same function as attribute6 of the
device configuration object (seeAttribute6: Number of
magnets (Number of Magnets) on page15 and chapter
5.4 Setting the number of magnets on page17).
5.3.3 Averaging_Filter
This parameter has the same function as attribute17 of
the device configuration object (seeAttribute17: Averaging
(Averaging Filter) on page15).
5.3.4 FMM_Timeout
This parameter is identical in function with attribute16 of
the device configuration object (seeAttribute16: FMM
timeout on page15).
5.3.5 Direction_Counting_Toggle
This parameter has a similar function to attribute12 of the
Position Sensor Object (seeAttribute12: Measurement
direction reversal (Direction Counting Toggle) on
page10). However, it works on all magnets
simultaneously whilst the corresponding attribute of the
Position Sensor Object is only valid for one magnet.
5.3.6 Scaling_function_Control
This parameter is identical in function with attribute14 of
the Position Sensor Object (see Attribute14: Scaling
function (Scaling Function Control) on page11). It is
also valid for all magnets and all instances simultaneously.
5.3.7 Position_Measuring_Increment
Identical with the parameter18 bearing the same name in
the Position Sensor Object (see Attribute18: Increment
(Position Measuring Increment) on page11). In contrast
to the individual settings made using the Position Sensor
Object, this parameter simultaneously affects all magnets.
5.3.8 Velocity_Resolution
Identical with the parameter bearing the same name in the
Position Sensor Object (see Attribute26: Speed resolution
(Velocity Resolution) on page12). This parameter also
affects all magnets simultaneously.
