Reinstall the UV blocker assemb ly and the side cover in case you do not intend to install another xen on lamp
immediately in the Lam p Hou se.
CAUTION: Expired xenon lamps.
Dispose of expired b ulbs that are b eyon d warranty in the following manner: w rap the bulb tightly in several
layers o f canvas o r heavy cloth. Place it on hard surface and shatter the envelope with a sharp hamm er blow.
DO NO T place a n on shattered bulb in any ordinary refuse container.
CAUTION: Small amounts of radioactive material ( < 1000 Bq per lamp) are deliberately ad ded to Xenon lamps
for fun ctional reas ons. These lamps are manu factured under regulatory control as consumer product accord-
ing to IAEA basic safety standard BSS 115. D isposal according to national regu lations is required e.g. in
Europe covered by WEEE regulation. See also related user manual of the lamp supplier for more guidance.
When returning a xenon lamp for warranty adjustment, pack it in its original shipping container. Complete
and return all required warranty information.
