4.12 Realignment of the lamp in its reflector (manual Lamp House)
Each xenon lamp installat ion requires a realign ment of the lamp in its reflector for optimal performance of the
xenon lamp in the Pro metheu s. F urthermore, it is recomme nded t o realign the lamp afte r the first run time of
100 and 200 hours. Especially the Z-axis of the lam p.
How to realign
1. Remove the lam p cover to get ac cess to the X-, Y - and Z-axis adjustment thumbscrews of the lam p.
2. Some lamp houses may have lock nuts on the X and Y adjustment screws w hich are locked. Before starting the adjustmen t, fully
turn these lock nuts against the thumbscrew.

3. Switch on the projector and start up the lam p.
4. Go via the Communicator touch panel to the menu “Insta lla tion” > “Lam p ” > “Light output”.
5. Set the “Light output mode”innormal mode and the “Lamp Dimming” on max imum (255).
Note: This window on the Communicator touch pan el shows in the upper left corner the m easured value of the built-in light
sensor of the projector.
