What to do if I see a sensor error on my Bard Medical Equipment?
    • S
      Steve FloresAug 4, 2025
If you encounter a sensor error with your Bard Medical Equipment, it could be due to interference from magnetic field changes or sensor movement. Try the following: 1. Move all metal objects at least 12 inches (30 cm) away from the sensor. 2. Lower bed rails. 3. Move all active electronic devices at least 5 feet (1.5 m) away. 4. Do not move the sensor and ask the patient to remain still. 5. Calibrate. If the error persists, discontinue use. Alternatively, the error could indicate a sensor malfunction. In this case, try turning the system off and restarting it. If the error continues, discontinue use.

      Daniel StephensAug 14, 2025
If your Bard Medical Equipment displays a 'Sensor Disconnected' error, first ensure the sensor is properly connected by disconnecting and reconnecting it. If the issue continues, the display power supply might be connected to a noisy electrical outlet. Try disconnecting the display power supply from the electrical outlet to run the system on battery power. If the sensor still cannot be detected, you should call the technical support.
