Inspection and Cleaning
Radiator
Inspection of Radiator
Make sure that there is no damage to the
radiator.
Make sure that the radiator is not
contaminated.
Cleaning of Radiator
An unclean radiator may cause the engine to
overheat or seize.
It may also cause malfunction of the hydraulic
system.
Do not use solid objects, such as a spatula or
screwdriver, or high-pressure water to clean
the radiator or oil cooler.
Otherwise, special fins or tubes may be
damaged, possibly resulting in reduced
cooling performance or coolant leakage.
Open the hood.
