2.1 Intended use
The hand-held scanners in the BCS 3600
ex
series are hand-operated items of electrical equipment.
They are used for the mobile capture, processing and transfer of data within potentially explosive
atmospheres.
The data are transferred either using a connection cable (BCS 3608
ex
) or using a Bluetooth
connection (BCS 3678
ex
).
The hand-held scanners in the BCS 3600
ex
series have been modified for use in the following
potentially explosive atmospheres:

Installation Category I.
