11.1 Restoring the connection between Bluetooth hand-held scanner and cradle
If the hand-held scanner is not transferring any data to the cradle, restore the connection as follows:
All cables on the host and on the cradle are securely connected.
1. Unplug the mains cable from the cradle.
2. Unplug the connection cable from the cradle.
3. Wait 3 seconds.
4. Connect the connection cable to the cradle.
5. Connect the mains cable to the cradle.
6. Connect the hand-held scanner to the cradle.
11.2 Resetting the hand-held scanner
The hand-held scanner can be reset to default settings in two ways:
‒ Factory settings (see the ZEBRA Product Reference Guide, Annex A, Standard Default
Parameters)
‒ Customised default settings.
11.2.1 Resetting the hand-held scanner to default settings
The hand-held scanner is reset to the following default settings using the “Restore Defaults” barcode:
‒ If customised default settings have been configured: the hand-held scanner is reset to the
customised default settings
‒ If no customised default settings have been configured: the hand-held scanner is reset to factory
settings.
