Chapter 62 13. Examine the collective lever idler link attachment points
that connect the swashplate support assembly to the collective
lever for wear, corrosion and damage.
Chapter 62 14. Examine the cyclic and collective control levers, collective
idler link, swashplate assembly, drive hub assembly, drive link
assembly and idler link assembly for interference, looseness,
mechanical damage or corrosion. Make sure they are correctly
attached. (R1)
Chapter 62 15. Examine the main rotor hub for damage and correct
installation. Examine the upper and lower stops, pitch links and
the hub to mast attach bolts for corrosion and damage. Make
sure they are correctly attached.

Step 16 is an airworthiness inspection limitation.
16. Examine the main rotor yoke center section (center to
station 15) as follows: (R1)
a. Clean the yoke center sections.
b. Do a careful visual inspection of the yoke center
sections for delamination and damage.
c. If any defects are found, contact Bell Helicopter Product
Support Engineering for instructions.
Chapter 62 17. Examine the damper blade sets and the shear restraints
elastomer for delamination, wear (crumbling) or damage.
Examine the fluidlastic dampers and surrounding area for signs
of leakage. Verify that the gold pin in each pressure indicator
extends above the black sleeve or the bottom of the metal cap
plastic window. Examine the adapter assemblies and pitch
horns for corrosion and damage. Make sure they are correctly
attached. (R1)
Chapter 62 18. Examine the main rotor blades for damage. Make sure
they are clean. Examine the product balance weight attachment
screws for correct installation and hole elongation. (R1)
