Paragraph 5-13 1. Do a complete 50 hour inspection.
DETAIL:
Chapter 12 and
Chapter 67
1. Remove the left, center and right bottom access panels
from below the crew compartment. Examine the control tubes,
links, rod end bearings, bellcranks, supports and attach bolts for
corrosion and wear. Make sure they are correctly attached.
Make sure the spring cartridges and rotary actuators are
correctly attached. (F1/F2)
Chapter 12 2. Remove the access panels along the bottom centerline of
the fuselage. (F3/F4)
Chapter 67 a. Examine the directional control tubes, rod end bearings,
bellcranks, supports and attach bolts for corrosion and wear.
Make sure they are correctly attached.
b. Examine the wiring bundles for chafing. Make sure they
are correctly attached with clamps. Examine all of the exposed
structure for corrosion, distortion or cracks.
Chapter 29 c. Examine the directional control actuator for leaks. Make
sure it is correctly attached.
d. Examine the FS 340.00 bulkhead structure for distortion
or cracks in the area where directional control actuator attaches.
