PERSONALITY BOARDS
A specific Personality Module is needed for the Current Loop Communication, Generic Current Loop Communication, RS-485
Communication, and Pulse Output for Fleet Management. The dispenser MUST have the correct module for the dispenser to
communicate properly. The following sections provides a description of each component of the personality module. Note: Refer to the
wiring diagram included in the dispenser for wire, shunts, and field jumper wire connections if applicable.
BENNETT CURRENT LOOP & GENERIC CURRENT LOOP PERSONALITY BOARD(P/N 121982)
Bennett Current Loop uses a 4-wire protocol. To be used with Gilbarco Passport, VeriFone Commander, Wayne Fusion, and Wayne
Nucleus remote consoles. Generic Current Loop uses a 2-wire protocol.
Current Loop communication uses terminal strips TS1 (side 1) and TS2 (side 2). The figure below shows the typical 719 CPU Board layout
for a current loop personality module.
