PULSE OUTPUT BOARD (FLEET MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS)
The pulse output board connects to the 719 CPU on connector J7. It supports up to two fueling positions on the single RS485 connection.
The pulse output board interfaces with the fleet system using three signals. It is used to output pulse data, handle switch status
information and receive authorization signals from the Fleet System. Refer to the programming section earlier in this manual to configure
Pulse Unit, Pulse Period (PPS), and Pulse Ratio. Note: Used with Electronic Dispenser Models 3X11, 3X12, 3X22, X10DEF, and X20DEF
where X is 7, 8, or 9.
COMPONENT DESCRIPTION
The following is a description of the terminal strips and pinouts used on the Pulse Output Personality Module.
J1 Pulse Output Board Receptacle
A 15x2 receptacle is used to connect to J2 of the 719 CPU board.
TS1 Pulse Output Data
A 8-position header is used to transmit pulse output signals. Note: The fleet system and tank gauge connected to the dispenser must
provide 5 – 12 volts DC for the pulse output channel. Pulse output positive is +5VDC-12VDC.
