FITTING THE ROTARY HOE
Technical characteristics:
Rotary Hoe speed : 1

speed: 217 rpm

rev/min.
Connection to motorcultivator (Fig. 19)
- Fit the connection joint (1) to the rotary hoe
shaft and fit the two centering pins (2) into
the corresponding holes.
- Loosen the 2 special nuts (3) that are fitted
to the cultivator tie rods.
- Fit the rotary hoe into the support by moving
it slightly vertically and horizontally and
rotating it slightly until the flange surfaces
meet.
- Fully tighten the special nuts (3).
Working depth adjustment
It is possible to vary the tilling depth by using
lever (A) placed on the upper part of the
rotary hoe hood (Fig. 20). Move the lever up
to increase the depth and down to decrease
the depth.
MAINTENANCE
ATTENTION - Maintenance
operations must be carried out
with machine at standstill and
engine switched off.
Each time the Rotary Hoe is used check
that:
1) The bolts that fix the hoe to the
motocultivator are well tightened.
2) The blades’ nuts and fixing screws are
well tightened.
3) The oil of the bevel pair gear box is at
correct level, i.e. almost full.
ATTENTION - When changing the
blades ensure that they are fitted
in the same way.
