4.2 BACKFEED PROTECTION DEVICE
The INGENIO COMPACT UPS is provided of a mains input contactor which works as backfeed
protection. The back feed protection ensures personnel safety against any risk of accidental
energy return to the input circuit. It imposes the automatic opening of a switching device in case
of a malfunction of the static switch.
In addition to this, a 9Vdc 20mA power supply is also avvailable, which can be used to
command an external isolation circuit.
The following table shows the main electrical characteristics of the external sectioning device.
