6.1 Fan unit and assembly of the subracks
Basic unit
A clearance of at least 90 mm is necessary for sufficient air circulation and
for changing the fan unit.

Basic units of the CL400 may be operated without a fan unit under the fol
lowing conditions:
D Ambient temperature in switch cabinet V45 ºC,
D Power supply module NT1 or NT24,
D No system modules and
D No peripheral modules in the basic unit which require a fan unit.
The basic unit of the CL400 must be equipped with a fan unit if one of these
conditions is not fulfilled.
