4.4.4 Firmware update
This operating status is used to transfer a new firmware from a memory
card.
L Switch off control power supply module.
L Insert memory card with the new firmware in the ZS400.
L Switch on control power supply module.
The upper 7segment display of the ZS400 shows a flashing
, the Stop
and Reset Fix LEDs light up.
L Press Reset Fix key on the front panel of the ZS400.
The display at the upper 7segment display stops flashing. The new firm
ware is loaded: this takes approx. 6 to 8 seconds.
The ZS400 remains in Stop status. The lower 7segment display gives one
of the following types of information:
D
no error
D flashing content of memory card is invalid
(the old firmware is still present at the ZS400)
D flashing
ZS400 hardware error
(please consult our Customer Service depart
ment)
D flashing
new firmware not compatible with existing hard
ware
(the old firmware is still present at the ZS400)
L Remove memory card by pressing the eject key.
L Switch off control power supply module.
L Switch on control power supply module.
The ZS400 switches to operating mode No retention.
If a fault, e.g. power failure, occurs during loading, the firmware loaded to
the ZS400 will not be complete. In this case, please consult our Customer
Service department.
