Instructions for the Users
These operating instructions are intended for the
operators and owner of the KPS 003 combination test
bench.
Operators are trained automotive personnel, who
must be instructed in the operation of the combination
test bench, for example, by means of a Bosch training
course. The chapters 1 to 7 are intended for this group
of people.
The owner is responsible for the conditions sur-
rounding the operation of the test bench (e.g.:
Accident prevention etc.). Chapters 1, 9 and 10 are
intended primarily for the owner.

● Use as prescribed
The combination test bench is designed for testing
generators, governors and electric starting motors.
Testing takes place under simulated operating
conditions.

● Prevention of incorrect use!
Do not operate the test piece at excessive speeds.
Starters and generators must not be worked on under
any circumstances during test, since this would run
the risk of coming into contact with rotating parts.
