8 Commissioning

▶ Only commission the unit in a non-explosive atmosphere.
▶ The system operator is responsible for ensuring the appropriate ambient

▶ Pay attention toand eliminate potential danger sources before commissioning
theaxial piston unit.
▶ Make sure noone isinthe danger zone ofthemachine/system.
▶ The emergency stop button for themachine/system should bewithin
theoperator's reach.
▶ Always follow theinstructions ofthemachine/system manufacturer during
commissioning.

▶ Make sure all electrical and hydraulic ports are connected orplugged.
▶ Commission only afully installed, fully functioning product with original
accessories from BoschRexroth.
8.1 Initial commissioning
During all work on commissioning the axial piston unit, observe the general safety
instructions and intended use in chapter2 "Safety instructions" on page8.
▶ Connect the pressure gauge for the working pressure, case pressure,
boostpressure and suction pressure to the specified measuring points on the
axial piston unit or in the hydraulic system to verify the technical data during
initial operation.
▶ During commissioning, monitor the temperature of the hydraulic fluid in the
reservoir to make sure it remains within the permissible temperature and
viscosity limits.
