To install the Multi-DM hardware (continued):
6. If the host PC is not powered up, power it up now.
Allow the Windows operating system to fully start.
7. Power up the Multi Driver by flipping the switch on the back of the unit.
Compatible Windows operating systems will install the driver files automatically.
First the message Installing device driver software will appear in the system tray.
Then the message Cambridge Innovations Multi DM Driver USB Device will
display.
For Microsoft Windows installations only:
The Multi Driver will appear in the Device Manager under the Universal Serial Bus
Controllers node as Cambridge Innovations Multi DM Driver USB Device.
This device is displayed in Device Manager only when the Multi Driver
is turned on and connected to the PC.
The hardware installation is now complete.
Proceed to Section 8, Verifying the DM Installation.
