8. Verifying the DM Installation
After installing the hardware and software:
• The operation of the Driver and DM should be verified.
• Any alignment(s) required by the optical system design can be performed
Make sure to complete the BMC SDK software installation per Section 6
and the hardware installation per Section 7 BEFORE verifying the installation.
The procedures in this section describe using applications that are
only supplied with the Windows version of the SDK.
If you have the Linux version of the SDK, refer to the instructions
that were supplied with it.
The procedures in this section use the DMShapes application to control the shape
of the DM surface. For additional details on using this application
see Section 9, DMShapes Software Overview
