Table 7 - ERROR LED Codes
ERROR LED State Meaning
Off Neither of the errors described below are present.
Illuminated Solid The USB FIFO has gone empty before all 32 DAC channel groups
have been received. This most likely indicates an error due to the
host software sending a packet that is less than 320 bytes in size.
This is usually caused and cleared by the host software.
This error immediately sets all actuator values to 0.
This error condition will be cleared if the FIFO subsequently goes
empty exactly on a 320-byte boundary.
Illuminated Blinking The temperature in the Multi Driver enclosure has exceeded 50° C.
When this occurs:
• An over-temperature condition is reported
on the DE-9 connector. See Section 10.7, Multi Driver Auxiliary
Output DE-9 Details
• An over-temperature condition is reported
over the USB connection to the host PC.
• The high-voltage supply is disabled until the power is removed
from the Multi Driver and the internal enclosure temperature
drops below 50° C.
