Has ink been installed on
the new Print Heads?
5 or more nozzles misfiring?
Print a check pattern and count the number of misfiring nozzles.
Go to Flow 4.
Misfiring occurs.
<Cannot be resolved by Head cleaning.>
Exchange the M/Y Filter if the warning is indicated.
Clean the Wiper Blade if dirt
y, or replace if broken.
Is the FFC folded or damaged? Is
there any peeling at the edges?
Replace the FFC.
Has the Wiper
Blade come off?
Remove the Wiper Cleaner, and
check if the bottom of the Wiper
Blade moves when the top is pushed.
If it moves, the Wiper Blade has
come off.
Check for any looseness or bending at the
Tube and Head connections.
Check if the Wiper Cleaner Cassette is dirty and replace with a new one if required.

Repeating "Powerful" Head
cleaning 5 times does not
resolve the problem.

Max. 12.5 cc of ink used.
Execute “Powerful” cleaning (up to 5 times).
Print a check pattern and count the number of misfiring nozzles.
