Reservoir Level Detect: This occurs when a probe is giving a different reading when compared to the
neighboring probes above and below it.
Example: The 22.5 oz probe believes there is liquid present, but the 9oz and the 28oz probe show
reservoir as empty. Software improvements coming next month should minimize the potential for
this alert.
However, to correct this simply open the cabinet door, remove reservoir and take to sink to scrub and clean
off the conductance probes in the side wall.
Reservoir Not Detected: This is most likely to occur after reservoirs have been removed for cleaning.
In most instances our reservoir has not been fully seated to engage with the spring contacts in the
docking base.
Pushing down on the reservoir will typically help it fully seat. Also, the handle will now illuminate blue as
feedback that docking was successful.
If handle doesn’t illuminate even after pushing down to help fully seat reservoir into drip tray, try a known
working reservoir in the same location and the problem reservoir in an alternate location to see if issue
follows the server or specific docking location. If the docking location is the issue, remove panel and ensure
spring contacts have the harness leads fully tightened.
Swing Arm up: This is most likely to occur after the reservoirs have been removed for cleaning. Prior to
pulling reservoirs the dispense swing arm is rotated 90 degrees to allow for easy removal of reservoirs. The
unit will not allow brews into reservoirs until the swing arm is put down back into place. Open the door and
lower swing arm.
Drip Tray overflow: Build up of coffee grounds and fine in drip could lead to a clog over time. Remove drip
tray and fully rinse out any build up. Improvements coming to our through chute are expected to drastically
reduce the potential of this.
Reservoir I/O Communication lost: Perform a power cycle to give brewer a chance to reset. If issue
persists, confirm harness connections at upper right of board fully seated. This alert implies a bad
connection between the Fast Cup Display and the reservoir I/O board. The potential causes are a bad
harness or harness connection, a bad reservoir I/O board, or a bad Fast Cup Display.
