The transmission gears are marked on
the gearshift panel, as shown by arrow
in right diagram.
Gear P is the parking gear. Press the
button shown by arrow in right
diagram to apply the parking brake. Shift
to this gear before starting or stopping
the motor. At the start of vehicle,
depress the brake pedal and then shift
from gear P to other gear.
● To avoid damage to the transmission, “P” button can be pressed after the car is
parked completely.
■ “R” is the reverse position and can be used after the car is parked completely.
■ “N” is neutral position and can be used when the car is parked temporary; ensure to
shift to parking gear before getting off the vehicle for whatever purpose.
■ “ ” is the parking position and can be used to park the car.
■ “D” is the driving position, and can be used during normal driving process.
■ After a successful shift, if your hand is released, the shift lever will be automatically
returned to the middle position
