4-4 Start and drive
Driving essentials
Must lower the driving speed in the headwinds to control the car.
Must drive the car slowly and keep it at the correct angle on the side of the street. Do
not drive the car on objects with high and sharp edges or other road obstacles;
otherwise it may cause a serious damage to the tires.
Must lower the driving speed on bumpy roads. Otherwise, the impact may cause
serious damage to the wheels.
When cleaning the car or driving through deep water, do not wet the brakes, must
drive the car carefully and gently depress the brake pedal to ensure that the brakes
are dry.
Tip
Before driving, ensure that the electronic parking is fully released and the parking
brake indicator is turned off.
Do not leave the car while the drive motor is running.
Do not put your foot on the brake pedal while driving. Otherwise, it may lead to
dangerous overheating and wear of brakes and waste of electrical power.
When driving on steep slopes with long distances, must lower the driving speed and
switch to low-speed gear position. It should be noted that if the number of brake
applications is too many, the brake disc will be overheated and cannot be operated
normally.
Must be careful when accelerating, shifting, or braking on a smooth road. Any rapid
acceleration or braking may cause slipping or driving deviation.
Do not extend your head or hands out of the window during driving process, to avoid
any traffic accident and even death; especially for children in the car.
When driving on wet roads, must avoid the road sections with excessive water.
A large amount of water entering the front cabin will cause damage to the power
system and electrical applications.
