■ The air conditioning system in your car is a closed system and any important
maintenance must be performed by a qualified technician.
■ You can carry out the followings to ensure the normal operation of the air conditioning
system:
● Check the air conditioning condenser regularly. Remove leaves, insects and dust
deposited on the front surface. These deposits may block airflow and reduce the
cooling effect. Please remove them with a low voltage water gun or a soft brush.
● The condenser pieces and the radiator pieces are extremely easy to bend and can
only be cleaned with a low voltage water gun or a soft brush.
● In cold weather, the air conditioning should be activated at least once a week and
operated for at least 10min, to circulate the lubricating oil contained in the cooling
system.
● If the cooling effect of the air conditioning system is lowered, it is recommended to
contact BYD Auto Authorized Service Station for maintenance.
● Whenever the air conditioning system is maintained, the inspection station should
be required to ensure the normal operation of the refrigerant recirculation system.
● The system is used to recycle the refrigerant, and releasing the refrigerant into the
enlivenment may cause pollution.
● The air conditioning system is equipped with an electric compressor. Please use the
genuine POE refrigeration oil in maintenance; do not use unqualified refrigeration oil
or counterfeit POE refrigeration oil.
