4-4 Start and drive
Warning
● If the car is still moved after the motor is turned off and “N” position is engaged, the
transmission will be seriously damaged due to lack of the lubrication.
● When the motor is running and “R”/“D” position is engaged, must depress the brake
pedal to park the car, because the transmission can transmit the power even under
idle conditions, and the car may be moved slowly.
● If the gear position is shifted during driving process, do not depress the accelerator
pedal to prevent an accident.
● Do not push the shift lever into “R” position or press the “P” button while the car is
running, to prevent an accident.
● Do not drive the car in “N” or “P” position on a slope road, even if the motor is not
running.
● To prevent the car from inadvertent movement, must apply the parking brake and
press “P” button after the car is parked.
Electronic parking
When parking and leaving the car, must
keep the electronic handbrake switch in
the application status.
Apply the electronic handbrake manually
If applying the handbrake, the indicator on the dashboard will flash first; after the
indicator is always on, it indicates that the electronic handbrake is applied, and
“Electronic Parking Activated” will be displayed.
