Why can’t I place calls?
Check the SIP registration with your PBX server or ITSP.
To do a pcap capture during a test call on web user interface, and we will check it and inform
you what happens.
Why does my handset not work?
Check that the handset cord is fully connected to both the handset jack on the phone and handset.
Refer to Phone Installation on page 13.
Why does my headset not work?
Check that the headset cord is properly connected to the headset jack on the phone. Refer to
Phone Installation on page 13.
Check that the headset mode is activated. Refer to Headset Use on page 37.
Check that the headset volume is adjusted to an appropriate level. Refer to Volume on page 32.
Why can’t I get a dial tone?
Check for any loose connections and that the phone has been installed properly. For the
installation instructions, refer to Phone Installation on page 13.
Switch between the Handset, Headset (if present) or Hands-Free Speakerphone to check
whether the dial tone is present for one of the audio modes. If the dial tone exists on another
audio mode, connect a different handset or headset to confirm whether it is issue related to
handset or headset.
