C. Dual Wired Network support
53
In addition to a primary line (wired LAN) and a secondary line (wireless LAN),
two wired LAN networks are supported simultaneously. This requires a
compatible USB-LAN Adapter
54
. Drivers for the adapters, below, are built into
the firmware, which enables plug-and-play support.
Supported Adapters:
PLANEX USB-LAN1000R
Rankie USB 3.0 Network
StarTech USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet Wired LAN
TechRise USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet
TeckNet UL699G USB 3.0 to RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet
D. Memory Media
Scan to USB memory media support is standard. Users can attach a USB
memory stick to the USB port to scan and store documents in the PDF, JPEG,
TIFF, XPS or OOXML file format. Users can also print files stored in the
memory media at any time with the desired print settings.
System Administrators can restrict scanning to and printing from memory
media independently to safeguard sensitive and confidential information.
53 All network functions are supported by the primary line (wired LAN); however, some functions, such as uniFLOW, imageWARE
Enterprise Management Console, imageRUNNER ADVANCE Desktop, and Therefore Online, are not supported by the
secondary line. For more information, see the e-Manual.
54 Adapters are not supplied or sold by Canon, and must be purchased through third party vendors. Canon USA, Inc. cannot
guarantee functionality or compatibility.
