C. Controlling the Feeding
Mechanism
1. Controlling the Registration Roller
The registration roller is controlled by the
spring clutch, control ring, registration sen-
sor, and registration solenoid (SL2).
I
When the microprocessor on the DC
controll& PC6 receives the bre-registration
paper d’etection signal from the pre-registra-
tion pap’er sensor (Q751), it turns on the reg-
istration solenoid at a specific timing. When
the registration solenoid turns on, the paw1
moves away from the control ring, allowing
the drive of the main motor to be transmitted
to the registration roller and moving the copy
paper to the photosensitive drum.
