2. Start the engine and shift the engine control
lever to the intermediate position between
"HIGH" and "LOW".
3. Shift the blade clutch lever slowly to “ON”.
NOTE
* When the rotary blade is at the highest
position, the cutting blade clutch cannot be
shifted to “ON”. Shift the blade clutch after
slightly lowering the rotary cutter.

* Immediately stop the engine to remove any foreign matter caught in the cutting
blades. Foreign matter may unbalance the rotary blade and cause vibrations
and failure.
