6.1 Preparation
6.1.1 Checking and Filling Fuel
•Petrol (gasoline) is flammable. Never refuel
or service the fuel system while smoking or
near open flames or sparks.
•Never refuel machine when engine is run-
ning.
Engine is very hot soon after it has been
stopped. Do not fill fuel when engine is still
hot. Do not spill fuel out of filler. In case fuel
is spilt, wipe out immediately.
DANGER
1. Check fuel gauge visually. If there is not enough fuel,
open filler cap and fill fuel.

When fuel gauge approaches [E (empty)],
refuel as soon as possible.
When using machine on a slope, make sure
the fuel level is below upper limit on fuel fil-
ter.
