8.1 Chassis
1. Inspect each area in accordance with the Maintenance
Schedule (Page 26).
Carry out servicing if a defective condition is found.
2. Clean external surfaces with a cloth moistened with oil.
Lubricate areas which can get rusty.
3. Set air pressure of tires at a value slightly higher than the
standard value.
4. Apply chocks in front and back of front wheels.
5. Move blade clutch lever to [ON] position.
6. Oil and grease areas to be oiled and greased. ( Pages 35
and 36)
7. Remove key from main switch.

When storing machine for a long time, appropriate maintenance is required for future use. After performing
After Use Care (page 47), follow the instructions below.
Do not store machine, battery, or fuel near open flame or in a
high temperature area. Doing so may cause a fire.
Do not store machine in a dusty or damp place. Be sure to put a
cover (vinyl sheet, etc,) on machine after engine has cooled.
