7.4.1 Engine Oil
Inspecting and Filling
1. Park machine on a horizontal surface.
2. Remove oil gauge.
Inspect engine oil level either before starting
engine or more than 5 minutes after stopping
engine. Oil remains in various parts of engine
right after stopping, and correct reading of oil
level is not possible.
NOTE
3. Visually inspect the oil level. If it is not in the range A,
add engine oil.
4. Visually check the condition of engine oil. If it is dirty,
change it.
Oil to use : page 30
Amount of engine oil :
Within the range A with oil gauge fully insert-
ed
(Do not exceed [FULL])
5. Re-insert oil gauge.

Maintenance
7.4 Fluids and Lubricants
Insufficient or improper lubrication can not
only cause machine to fail achieving smooth
operation, but also may cause it to break
down and shorten its service life. It is impor-
tant to fill machine with the right amount of
specified, good quality fluids and lubricants
on the recommended schedule.
Always shut off engine before inspecting or
servicing.
