7.4.3 HST Oil
Inspecting and Filling
1. Park machine on a horizontal surface.
2. Inspect HST oil amount in the HST oil tank. If level is
low, open oil tank cap and fill HST oil.

HST oil amount :
on the model without charge pump
To the "Upper Limit" when oil is cool
on the model with charge pump
To the check bolt when oil is cool
Check HST oil level when it is cold. When it is
hot, HST oil expands and oil level goes up. If an
excessive amount of oil is put in, oil may over-
flow when it reaches the operating temperature

Maintenance
Changing
1. Prepare a suitable container to drain oil.
2. Remove drain plug and drain oil.
Hot oil can cause burns.
CAUTION
Properly dispose of drained oil.
3. Replace drain plug.
4. Open oil filler plug and fill the specified oil.
