Bleedingairfromthehydrauliccomponents
NOTE:Afterbleedingairfromthecomponents,stopthe
engineforveminutesandchecktherearenobubblesat
thesurfaceofthehydraulicuidinthereservoir.
Hydraulicpump
•
Usingasolvent,cleantheperipheryoftheairbleed
plug.Loosentheairbleedplug,removetheplugifthe
uiddoesnotow.
•
Fillthepumpwithnewcleanhydraulicuid.Installand
tightentheairbleedplug.
•
Starttheengineandrunitatlowidlespeed.Loosen
theairbleedplugonthepump.Tightentheplugwhen
airfreeuidcomesoutofthebleedplughole.Clean
theareacompletely.

Swingmotor
•
Starttheengineandrunitatlowidlespeed.Loosenthe
drainportandmakesurehydraulicuidrunsout.Ifnec-
essary,stoptheengineandaddoilviatheorice.Install
theplugwithouttightening,thenstarttheengineand
runitatlowidlespeed,leavingittorununtiloilbegins
torunfromtheorice.Tightentheairbleedplugcom-
pletely.Swingtheupperstructureatleasttwicecom-
pletelytotherightandtwicecompletelytotheleft.
•
Aftercompletebleeding,stoptheengineforvemin-
utesthencheckthattherearenoairbubblesinthehy-
draulicreservoir.

Attachmentcylinders
•
Starttheengineandrunitatlowidlespeed.Extendand
retracttheattachmentcylinderrodsfourorvetimes
withoutbringingthemtoendofstroke.Thenrepeat
theoperationthreeorfourtimes,thistimebringingthe
cylinderrodstoendofstroke.
