Replacingthebelt
Ifthebeltbreaks,themessage"Alternator"isdisplayed
onthemessagescreens.Shutdowntheengine,remove
theignitionkeyandchangethebelt.
Removetheretainingscrews(1)and(2).Usetheadjust-
mentscrew(3)topushthealternatorinward.
Removethewornbelt.
Installanewbelt.
Adjustthebeltusingthescrew(3).
Retightentheretainingscrews(1)and(2).
Runtheengineforaboutanhourandthencheckthebelt
tensionagain.
