ALTERNATE AIR LIGHT ILLUMINATES IN FLIGHT:
1. Check that the alternate air control is in the NORM position.
2. Visually check that the ram inlet doors are raised and check for
reverse operation.
3. If system has failed in the alternate position, land as soon as
practicable and check the inlet and the pneumatic lines.
NOTE
During takeoff or steep climbs at low
airspeeds and high power, the alternate air
light can illuminate intermittently when in
the normal air mode.
STATIC SOURCE BLOCKAGE
(Erroneous Instrument Reading Suspected)
1. Heat and Air Valves -- PULL ON
2. Vents and Windows CLOSED
3. Alternate Static Source Valve PULL ON
4. Airspeed Consult Calibration Table in Section 5 of the POH.
5. Altitude - Consult appropriate calibration tables in Section 5 of
the POH.
LANDING WITH A FLAT MAIN TIRE
1. Wing Flaps AS DESIRED (0 - 10 below 137 KIAS,
10 40 below 96 KIAS).
2. Make a normal approach.
3. Touchdown GOOD TIRE FIRST, hold airplane off flat tire as
long as possible with aileron control.
LANDING WITH A FLAT NOSE TIRE
1. Approach -- NORMAL.
2. Flaps -- AS REQUIRED.
3. Touchdown -- ON MAINS, hold nose wheel off the ground as
long as possible.
4. When nose wheel touches down, maintain full up elevator as
airplane slows to stop.
