Troubleshooting or diagnostic inspections (in excess of half an hour), phone calls for
technical support, or no trouble found/no repairs made.
Service items or routine maintenance items including, but not limited to: oil, oil filters, fuel
filters, air filter, transmission fluid, anti-freeze, coolant, belts, hoses, light bulbs, wiper
blades, tune-ups, fuel, windshields, brake and clutch linings, exterior mirror glass, wheel
studs, radius rod or king pin bushings, wheel balancing, wheel seals and bearings, and
drive axle pinion seals
Shop supplies (shop rags, drill bits, solvents and other miscellaneous items)
Tools purchased to repair or replace parts
Failures resulting from or due to the lack of required preventive maintenance, improper
repair procedures, or otherwise not complying with CHTC Maintenance manuals and
service bulletins.
Installation of non-OEM equipment
Claims filed after more than 30 days finding the defect
This warranty does not cover any economic loss, including without limitation, communication
expenses, meals, lodging, loss of use of the coach, loss of revenue, coach replacement charges,
towing, loss of time, inconvenience, cargo damage, overtime premium, mileage, shop supplies,
hotels or any other cost or expense resulting from a defect covered by this warranty.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, towing and/or road service is limited to $600 per incident when a
coach is inoperable or continued operation would result in additional component damage due to
a defective component listed in the engine component coverage list included therein. Towing
and/or road service charges due to a failure of a non-covered engine component or resulting from
an accident are not covered. Towing coverage is limited to a single tow per incident for covered
coaches that are accessible from a MAJOR paved highway and towed to the nearest authorized
CHTC Service Center.
OWNER’S RESPONSIBILITY
Perform maintenance on the vehicle as described in in the applicable maintenance
manual
Perform routine adjustment services regularly, which includes but is not limited to: wheel
alignment, wheel balance, headlight adjustment, and brake adjustment
Keep all preventive, maintenance, and repair records. CHTC will require these records
before performing any services.
