If Barge fails and you hear a fast busy tone, it could be due to a couple of reasons. First, you can't barge an encrypted call if your conference phone isn't set up for encryption. Second, you might have accidentally turned on the Privacy softkey.

If a softkey is missing, try these steps: First, change the line state by going off-hook or having a connected call. Second, press More to see if additional softkeys are hidden. If it is still not there, your conference phone might not support the feature, contact your administrator.
