Understand the Set Up UpConverter GUI
The Set Up UpConverter GUI allows you to add, provision, monitor, delete, or edit
an upconverter, assign it to a headend, and specify RF output and connectivity
parameters for the upconverter.
Important! You must connect an upconverter to the GoQAM in order to use the
procedures in this section.
Understanding the Set Up UpConverter GUI
Follow these steps to open the UpConverter List window.
1 From the DNCS Administrative Console, select one of the following tabs:
For SR 2.7/3.7/4.2 and later, click the Network Element Provisioning tab.
For SR 2.5/3.5/4.0 and earlier, click the Element Provisioning tab.
2 Click UpConverter. The UpConverter List window opens.
3 Choose one of the following options:
To create a new upconverter, to go step 4.
To edit an existing upconverter, go to step 6.
