• Windows NT
• Windows 98
• Windows XP
• Windows 2000
• Solaris 8
• Solaris 9
Release 5.0 CTC supports the following browsers and JREs:
• Netscape 7 (on Solaris 8 or 9 with Java plug-in 1.4)
• PC platforms with Java plug-in 1.4.2
• Internet Explorer 6.0 (on PC platforms with Java plug-in 1.4.2)
Note You can obtain browsers at the following URLs:
Netscape: http://channels.netscape.com/ns/browsers/default.jsp
Internet Explorer: http://www.microsoft.com
Note The required JRE version is JRE 1.4.2.
Note JRE 1.4.2 for Windows and Solaris is available on Release 5.0 product CDs.
1.9.4 Unsupported Platforms and Browsers
Release 5.0 does not support the following platforms:
• Windows 95
• Solaris 2.5
• Solaris 2.6
Release 5.0 does not support the following browsers and JREs:
• Netscape 4.73 for Windows
• Netscape 4.76 on Solaris is not supported
• JRE 1.4.2 is not supported except with Netscape 7 on Solaris 8 or 9
