29. Mount the Ethernet switch in the table
This Ethernet switch is used for digital
microphones and touch panels (user interfaces).
You may have one or two touch panels.
We recommend mounting the switch under the
table, or somewhere close to the table.
This switch is connected to the internal
Room Panorama network, and cannot be used to
access the company LAN or Internet.

29.1. Mount the switch.
To prevent airflow restriction, allow clearance
around the ventilation openings to be at least 8 cm
(3 in.).

29.2. Connect the switch to the codec
Connect the Ethernet switch in table to the codec
as shown in the wiring diagram:
• Ethernet (X1)
This is the Ethernet cable that you pulled through
the flex tubes and connected to the codec in step
28.
Connect the power cable (X2) to the switch, but
don't connect it to the socket outlet yet.
