Conﬁguring Mail Notiﬁcations

You must conﬁgure an SMTP server to receive an email message each time an alert is raised. First conﬁgure an SMTP server,

and then conﬁgure a mail proﬁle. In the mail proﬁle, use commas to separate the addresses of the recipients.

To conﬁgure an SMTP server

1. Navigate to System > Notifications > Mail > Email.

2. In the details pane, click Email Server, and then click Add.

3. In the Create Email Server page, specify values for the server parameters. For a description of a parameter, hover the

mouse over the corresponding field.

4. Click Create, and then click Close.

To conﬁgure a mail proﬁle

1. Navigate to System > Notifications > Mail > Email.

2. In the details pane, click Email Distribution List, and then click Add.

3. In the Create Email Distribution Listpage, specify values for the mail profile parameters. For a description of a parameter,

hover the mouse over the corresponding field.

4. Click Create, and then click Close.
