P The tops of the child’s ears must be below the
top of the car seats Headrest, as shown in
Figure 3.
NOTE: If the tops of the child’s ears are
above the top of this car seats Headrest in
the highest adjustment position, your child is
too large for this car seat.
P The Shoulder Harness Straps must be through
Shoulder Harness Slots at or above and
closest to the child’s shoulders, as shown in
Figure 4, with the following exceptions:
If installing without the Top Tether,
choose one of the top two (2) sets of
Shoulder Harness Slots at or just above
and closest to the shoulders of your child
If installing without the Top Tether,
and with children under 40lb (18.1 kg),
the Shoulder Harness Straps must be
adjusted to the shorter Shoulder Harness
Webbing length.
NOTE: If the child’s shoulders are above the
highest set of Shoulder Harness Slots in the
car seat’s seat back, your child is too large
for this car seat.
