P The Crotch Strap must be through the
outer Crotch Strap Slot and adjusted to
the longer Crotch Strap length, with the following
exception:
– If installing with a vehicle belt without the Top
Tether, and with children under 40lb (18.1 kg),
the Crotch Strap must be through the inner
Crotch Strap Slot.
P Bottom of Headrest is is at or above the Shoulder
Harness Slots in Use.
P Harness is fully secured and snugly adjusted
around child.
P Car seat must be adjusted to a Forward-Facing
recline position correct for the selected installation
method, see “Proper Setup for Installation
Method” section on page ii.
P Car seat should not move more than 1” in any
direction when grasped above the Rear-Facing
belt path and pushed.
