Adjust seat to fit snugly against the vehicle
seat back as shown in Figure 83.
• Pull and hold Rigid LATCH
Adjustment Handle.
• Push car seat firmly into
vehicle seat back.
• Release Rigid LATCH
Adjustment Handle.
If installing with LATCH and the vehicle
belt:
• Pull shoulder portion of lap/shoulder
belt to remove excess slack as shown in
Figure 84.
• While holding the vehicle belt tight, lock
Forward-Facing Belt Lock-off as shown
in Figure 85.
NOTE: Use only one Shoulder Belt Lock-Off
at a time. NEVER use both in the Forward-
Facing Mode.
