C.2 Dual modem operation
C.2.1 Introduction
The SAILOR XTR GX-R2 Dual Modem feature supports the use of a GX modem unit and a
generic modem connected to the same SAILOR XTR GX-R2 antenna system.
The SAILOR XTR GX-R2 antenna system uses the GX modem unit when the GX satellite
profile is active and automatically switches to use the generic modem when the
generic satellite profile is activated.
The activation of the satellite profiles can be done remotely or locally by the web
interface or physically with the BDU front panel buttons and display menus.
